PLC 103.0 PLC Boot Camp (4.5 days)

This course is for personnel who are responsible for PLC-based systems, but have no hands-on PLC experience. The course instructs students on the five fundamentals necessary for basic understanding and troubleshooting of PLCs.

• Fundamental concepts of PLC controls
• PLC Number Systems
• Nine fundamental instructions which make up 90% of PLC programs
• PLC communications basics
• Getting On Line
• Structure and Debug principles of ladder logic programs

PLC 103.1 Level 1 (4.5 days)

This course is for personnel who are responsible for PLC based systems, who have attended the PLC103.0 (PLC Boot Camp Course). The course addresses programming and troubleshooting of moderate complexity systems.

• Review fundamental concepts of PLC controls
• Review PLC Number Systems
• Structure for Program creation
• Documenting Programs
• Using Analog signals
• Create and debug programs

PLC 103.2 Level 2 (4.5 days)

This course is for personnel who are responsible for PLC based systems, who have attended the PLC103.1 (PLC Level 1 Course). The course will deal with programming and troubleshooting of moderate complexity systems.

• Programming “part tracking” systems
• Programming “recipe” based operations
• Programming a “sequencer”
• Using advanced addressing methods; indexed and indirect.
