MSX international and the newly formed Dodge Nascar team selected Generic Systems to create miniature servo driven actuators, controls and software to speed up the wind tunnel testing for MSX produced 1/8 scale models of the Dodge Nascar prototypes. The four axis articulated servo system allows engineers to quickly orient the model for wind tunnels.

Seigel-Robert Inc, a major OEM supplier to automotive manufactures, ordered two V-Slide Robotic Finishing cells to both coat truck grills with resistant material before chrome electroplating and to spray argent material onto truck grills.

Freightliner corporate contracted Generic Systems to replace the software and electronics of existing Fluid Management Accutinter machines at their four North American heavy truck assembly plants. This machine is used to custom mix each color applied to Freightliner trucks. The machine contains up to 64 tinting, base and reducer ingredients which are simultaneously mixed to produce up to 24,000 custom colors. The Generic System upgrades increased speed, accuracy and reliability of the existing machine.

EISENMANN

Clearcoat, mix room, part load station and quality inspection was designed for a new OEM paint finishing system in Tennessee. Generic Systems and Eisenmann worked together to create a high level of device communication, integrated control and configurable capabilities which brought together conveyor, process and paint application, paint mix room, quality inspection and production scheduling into a powerful solution.

Volvo Truck contracted Generic Systems for Delmia Off Line Path teach services to program paint robots for an upcoming Volvo Truck model changes as well as integrate two models from the acquired Mac truck line. Generic Systems also provided On-Line touch up robotic path programming and PLC / graphics changes to the existing control system during this twelve month contract.

Under a supply agreement, Fluid Management supplied pump, valve and other mechanical assembly components for their industrial Accutinter machines to Generic Systems.

Dupont Performance Coatings has selected Generic Systems to service, support and supply tinting /equipment for industrial customers and Dupont service centers.
